Saint Dorcas Education is as a result of interdenominational fellowship which was started in August 2005. The members used to meet every Wednesday to feed, encourage and share the word of God with the needy families. It was in that process that the Founders realized in Kwa Ng’ang’a slums around the community, many children were not going to school. Many of them happened to be orphan from single parents, vulnerable and HIV/AID affected and infected. The group extended their hand and help children. This was after realizing that visiting a family once and another one next could bear fruits. The child that is given education and feeding programme can rely on themselves in the future.
